EmbedThis offers two types of commercial support:
- Basic Support
- Developer Support
Basic support provides guidance covering installation and operational usage of the product.
Developer support provides developer help for design and implementation issues. This covers embedded development, cloud-based device management, developer coding and debugging issues. Developer support requires that basic support also be enabled.
If you are interested in paid support, please sign up via the Builder portal at: https://admin.embedthis.com.
The Builder portal has a comprehensive product security center that is used to track issues and security notices. To display product issues, go to the Builder Products List and define or select your product. This will display the product security center below the product list.
With a paid support program, you can open a new support case via the Builder by clicking on Create Case.
When you open a support case, please make sure you do the following:
- Fully describe any issue — don't be too brief
- The exact sequence of operations to provoke the issue
- Specify the software version and how you built it
- Describe your system platform: O/S and hardware
- Provide a stand-alone test case that reproduces the issue
- If relevant, upload edited log files and command line trace
It is easy to be too brief in describing issues. To solve quickly, please provide as much detail as you can when describing issues.
The Builder online site is used to track issues and security notices.
